"Standardisation of papers"
In particular the listening, does anyone know to what extent (if any) statistically significant low results world-wide in a given Listening (or any paper for that matter) are taken into account by Cambridge. Are marks adjusted accordingly?

My students have just had a particularly bad listening experience after having done practice tests of FCE level very well, which suggests a high level of difficulty and I was wondering what heppened if a significant number of low marks occurred in a given paper.
