"use of english in CPE"
Hi everybody;) I'm from Italy and I really like to improve my use of english in CPE (third section). As a matter of fact, I have a lot of problems, expecially for the lexico-grammatical part, and gapped words!!! I feel very frustrated, because I don't know how to find useful material. Moreover, all the books I've bought, as last exam papers, don't show you how to reach the right level of knowlodge in order to pass the exam.

Thank u so much for every suggestion or tip u want to give me.

Hi,

what I would recommand is to work through the following book:

Advanced grammar & vocabulary by Mark Skipper

It is a book with 237 pages and you can learn a lot of useful vocabularies and sentences structures which are necessary to know for these parts of the exam.

It is hard work to go through the book, I mean to really learn this amount of vocabularies but it is - in my opinion - the best book you can study with.

I can send you a .pdf of the book if you send me your email or you go to this homepage http://www.scribd.com/ and download it by yourself which is the best side for English Grammar/Vocabulary books....

Bye
England

Thank u so much;) I've never use the website you've mentioned. How does it work? Do I have to register me for the download? Is free the material inside the website?

Thank u so much in advance.

Hi,

yes, you have to register but the material is for free.
Sometimes it takes a long time to download but this depends on your Computer. For me, it never takes longer than 10 minutes.

There you can find another good book for CPE - Longman Dictionary of Common Errors.

I'm sorry, but in SCRIBD I can't find it! I don't know why. I've used all the possible terms of research.

As i mentioned send me your E-Mail and I try to send you the books (pdf.) but I am not sure if it works because of the file size.
