LAST EDITED ON Sep-21-08 AT 04:23 AM (GMT) ok slang should be used in informal situations, i.e., informal letter to a friend and in the "social" speaking exam, right? but how much slang is ok? for instance, my students asked me about words like gotta, gonna, wanna. i kind of figured they were ok for the speaking exam, but are they? and how would they rate in the informal letter to a friend paper? thanks, susan in brisvegas!   Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
