Hi there everyone!2 minutes ago i found out that i passed the FCE with an "A".....I am so happy now.....Good luck to everyone!

i have passed it with A also .. but i`m not happy about it..

you see i steel can`t believe it..
and now i think that the result is not so important..

the more importnat is what is your knowledge.. and mine is certanly below the A level..

however A is better then D..

p.p. am i a pesimist or i dont believe in myself enough ?!

Moniska,
There's no need to be stressed about FCE. Just do Flo-Joe's practice tests, or borrow some books from the lobrary near you.
On the days before the exam, sleep well and when you are doing it relax and thing logically. As most of the papers are multiple answers, think of all of them (even if you think the first one is the good one) and after looking at all of them, decide whch is best.

Easy to say!I think Flo-Joe's practice test is no enough.I was going to a year English school and at the end of my course my teacher told me that I can do it,I am ready,but I was so stressed.I consider I can do not remember some rules conserning grammar.OK,so I'm going to start repeat with Flo-Joe's.The thing is that I am able to pass this exam,but the stage fright eat me and I won't say anything.Anyway thanx for your help.One guastion,could you tell me how look the test(briefly).Once more thank you

Well, FCE's paper 1 (Reading) is the part I found more difficult, as you have to match paragraphs and set titles to paragraphs which I find a little confusing sometimes. The easiest part of the paper is the multiple matching, it is just a matter of paying attention to all the possibilities and try to find a phrase in the text that can could justify your answer.
Paper 2 consists of 2 writing tasks. My teacher has advised me that in this part of the test, a plan is much better than a draft, as it takes less time and it may be more efficient.
Paper 3 (use of English) is the one where Grammar has to be applicated directly. Once again, in the multiple choice task, consider every option before choosing and shadowing in the answer paper. In the key word tranformation it is important to know some english expressions, so focus a bit more on this.
Paper4 (listening): In this part it is not recommended to have doubts ;)IMO, your first impression is what counts here. It is also important to hear the second time, even if you are sure you are correct as you can be mistaken.
Paper5 (speking): Here, my examinator hasn't been too strict (so yours shouldn't be), as I had some hesitations and finished before the 4 minutes and have been marked between good and exceptional. It is important to be relaxed when going to do this task as things will go better this way.

Some reccomendations: Do every exercise on the question paper and after them complete transfer the answers into the answer sheet (leave 5-10 minutes for this). Talk to the persons who did the exam with you and change some opinions instead of thinking alone about did well/did bad. As you exit the room think: 'I've done, now I can't change my answers, I'll stay calm and wait for the results to arrive.'

I hope this helps! It's not difficult if you are used to hear native english speakers. Try listening some englsh TV channels or something like that and you'll be ok!

Congratulations everyone,

I am also a person who really want to pass FCE.

I personally want to give the exam next year in spring.

Coul you help me with some adivice. Is is this site useful? Is useful the FCE exam success plus to buy. Is it worth buying it?
There are possibilities that one of this practice test to be given in the exam?
What about the speaking part or writing part? How do you practice them?
