Dear Sir or Madam, I’m writing in response to the radio discussion provided by young people about different attitudes toward work. I have to admit that most comments did not surprised me since the programm’s guests are my peers. However my point of view is quite different, probably more mature or maybe just unreal.
At the very beginning I should write something about me to give you a clear picture of my person. I am PhD student on the Physics Faculty. I think about my education and career truely seriously. What’s more I do not make any diversity between school and work. For me it is one and the same.
During a radio discussion I heard a number of opinions about a driving need to earn a world of money. I understand the fact that people dream about comfortable life and stability. However I do not believe that thay can spend their whole life at work which irritates them or gives no satisfaction. I strongly believe that it has to be really frustrating.
I do not want to offend anyone but one sentence made me laught. A young man said that he thinks only about having plenty of free time. For me it is a misundertanding since when we think about job we connect it with some kind of devotion not only with pleasure.
My point of view is simple, people should consider their personality, skills and talents. No doubt, everyone can make a correct choice about job and career. I cannot imagine myself doing something that annoys me, irritates me or make me bored. I would like to have tailor-made house too and live in comfortable conditions. Though I know I have to wait for my success. Fortunately there is one thing I am sure about, it is my life path. I know that no occupation suits me better than scince work, neither my personality nor my abilities.
